Abby Leung, an associate with Whitten & Lublin, feeds her passion for helping others through her employment law practice, where she assists individuals with real life challenges. As an employment and labour lawyer, she is dedicated to crafting legal solutions that empower her clients to navigate workplace issues and resolve disputes. Abby approaches each client’s case with a dynamic blend of diligence and thoroughness. When faced with litigation, Abby’s experience in a variety of legal areas including commercial litigation, human rights, and employment, provides her with a unique perspective in navigating complex litigation matters. Her tenacity ensures that she confronts each challenge head on, fiercely advocating for the client’s rights.

Abby advocates for both employees and employers across a spectrum of workplace law, including wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, human rights, employment contracts, occupational health and safety, workplace policy and discrimination matters. She has represented clients in diverse legal matters, including commercial litigation, labour, employment, and human rights matters at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Small Claims Court, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
Prior to joining Whitten & Lublin, Abby articled at a reputable mid-size full-service firm in Toronto before working as an associate lawyer at a boutique employment law firm. Abby is a member of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (FACL) and a passionate member of FACL’s Mentorship Committee.
In her spare time, Abby enjoys trying new escape rooms, rock climbing, cheering on the 2019 NBA Champion Toronto Raptors, playing piano and saxophone, and acroyoga.
