With Insight and Strategic Advocacy
Glenn Brandys is a senior litigation and employment lawyer at Whitten & Lublin who helps employees, executives, and businesses navigate complex workplace and commercial disputes. With 10 years of litigation experience, he brings a strategic, fact-driven approach to high-stakes matters, combining strong courtroom and dispute-resolution advocacy with deep knowledge of employment law and commercial litigation. Clients rely on Glenn for clear advice, steady judgment, and confident representation to guide them through some of the most difficult moments in their careers and businesses
Glenn maintains a robust practice where his employment and civil and commercial litigation cases frequently intersect with workplace issues. In employment disputes, he regularly advises on wrongful dismissal claims, executive disputes involving equity, stock, and bonus compensation, and the negotiation and enforcement of employment contracts. His litigation background allows him to assess these disputes not only on legal merit, but on how they will realistically unfold under pressure, whether across the negotiating table or in court.
In his civil and commercial litigation practice, Glenn regularly confronts breach of contract claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, particularly in closely held and family-owned businesses where employment and ownership overlap, as well as construction litigation, tort claims, and other business-related litigation requiring strategic, evidence-driven advocacy. Glenn also has experience in class actions involving product liability, consumer protection, privacy, and contract breaches, where he evaluates prospective cases, advances claims, and advises funders and counsel.
Glenn’s broader litigation background allows him to approach employment disputes in their full commercial context, an essential advantage that is especially valuable for senior employees, founders, and closely held companies facing complex, high-impact conflicts. It also equips him to quickly identify the legal and financial risks in a dispute and develop strategies that are both legally sound and commercially effective.
Glenn approaches every matter with disciplined analysis and a focus on outcomes that can be meaningfully protected and enforced. Known for his thorough preparation and composed, calm approach, he brings a balanced and strategic presence to negotiations, mediations, and the courtroom.
Clients can expect direct communication, objective assessments, and practical strategies grounded in both legal and financial realities, bringing clarity and control to challenging disputes. This allows his clients to move forward with confidence.
In his personal time, Glenn enjoys skiing, following professional sports, and endlessly searching for new music to add to his record collection.
Glenn has represented clients at all levels of the provincial courts, the Federal Court of Canada, and through various alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Whether its resolving commercial litigation claims, navigating shareholder disputes, or advancing class proceedings, Glenn’s expertise is both broad and deep.
